way that supports both our residents and our business community. Our team
embraces innovation and continually adapts to meet the evolving needs of San
Jacinto.
The Engineering Division is made up of Administration,
Inspection, Traffic, Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), Development, and
Environmental Services. Tri Lake Consultants, a division of Interwest
Consulting Group, serves as the City’s primary municipal engineering
contractor.
Engineering Administration
Oversees daily operations, manages funding and fee
programs, and ensures compliance with subdivision requirements and public works
construction standards.
Inspection
Verifies that grading, streets, drainage systems, and
City facilities are constructed in accordance with approved plans and
specifications.
Traffic
Addresses traffic, parking, and transportation needs
within the City and coordinates on regional traffic issues to improve mobility
and safety.
Capital Improvement
Projects (CIP)
Manages the engineering, design, administration, and
construction of City infrastructure projects, including new improvements and
replacement projects.
Land Development
Reviews private development projects, coordinates with
the Planning Division, conducts plan checks, and oversees final maps, drainage
improvements, and grading/improvement plans (streets, storm drains,
streetlights, etc.). This section also issues permits for grading and public
works improvements.
